Robots have basic parts that are common to all robots, which include the power supply; the main central processing unit (CPU); the teach pendant and operator panel; the axis control module with its amplifiers, motors, and feedback sensors; the input and output modules that are connected to the axis control module; the body parts such as base, waist, and arms; and the end effectors attached to the end of the robot arm. ill. 1 shows how these basic parts relate to each other through the back plane of the racks. This section will explain the function of each of these basic parts.
