The term reset is often used when discussing the action that the integral term causes the controller to make. In original controllers that used pneumatic or solid-state amplifiers, the controller could achieve the effect of integral action without a calculation by simply resetting the amount of original change caused by the gain action. For this reason the term reset is still used in controllers. It's important to familiarize yourself by referring to this part of the control as integral or reset action. The main point to remember about the integral is that the smaller the number that's used, the more quickly the system will respond, and the larger the number for the integral, the more slowly the system will respond.
