Pneumatic Actuators

The most common type of pneumatic actuator is the pneumatic cylinder. The pneumatic cylinder operates in conjunction with a pneumatic solenoid to allow air to make a cylinder to extend or retract. The range of motion for the pneumatic cylinder is generally limited to full extension or full retraction of the cylinder, as described earlier in the bang-bang robot.
